Libraries in the Twenty-First Century was officially launched at the National Library of Australia.
Dr Warwick Cathro, Assistant Director General of Innovation at the NLA was kind enough to launch the publication with a speech in which he noted that the book filled a major gap by charting new directions in library and information management with chapters written by carefully selected experts.
The launch was well attended by a cross-section of library and information professionals from both within and without the National Library.
Director of the Centre for Information Studies, Damian Lodge, presents Dr Warwick Cathro with a bottle of Charles Sturt University wine in thanks for his role in launching Libraries in the Twenty-First Century.
