2005 Mander Jones Award

Archives: Recordkeeping in Society was awarded the prestigious 2005 Mander Jones Award for "the publication making the greatest contribution to archives or a related field in Australia written by a person in their own right". The award honours Phyllis Mander Jones who, amongst other contributions to the archival profession, authored Manuscripts in the British Isles relating to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific in 1972. Michael Piggott received the award on behalf of the authors at the recent 2006 Australian Society of Archivists' Conference.
